Terms of Service

Acceptance

By creating an account or using TruStats (trustats.live), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

TruStats is a platform that lets founders create publicly shareable pages displaying business metrics sourced directly from third-party APIs — including Stripe, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, Chargebee, Recurly, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Plausible, Fathom, PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Delighted, UptimeRobot, Better Uptime, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, and Beehiiv. We provide the infrastructure, integration layer, and public-facing pages; you provide authorised access to your data sources.

Plans and pricing

TruStats offers three tiers:

• Free — All 18 integrations, verified public page, embed widget, period filters (1M / 3M / 6M / 1Y / All), 90-day MRR projections, investor / buyer contact form. No credit card required.
• Pro — $15 / month or $12 / month (billed annually at $144 / year) — Everything in Free, plus: remove "Powered by TruStats" branding from embeds, metric visibility control (choose which metrics are shown on your public page), custom domain (e.g. metrics.yourstartup.com), and embed domain allowlist with priority support.
• Directory Sponsor — $299 / month — A sponsored listing card on the Verified Startups directory at trustats.live/startups. Limited to 10 slots total. Independent from the Pro plan; you may hold a sponsor listing with or without a Pro subscription.

All prices are in USD and exclusive of any applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Billing and cancellation

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. By subscribing, you authorise Dodo Payments to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the frequency you select (monthly or annual).

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal linked in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

Annual subscriptions are charged upfront for the full year. If you cancel an annual plan, your Pro access continues until the end of the paid year; no prorated refund is provided.

What "Verified" means

Metrics marked with a "✓ Verified" badge are fetched directly from the named third-party API at the time of the most recent sync. "Verified" means the data was sourced from that provider — it does not mean TruStats has independently audited the correctness or completeness of the underlying data within that provider's system. Investors, acquirers, and other visitors should treat verified metrics as one data point among many and conduct their own due diligence.

Your responsibilities

• You must have the legal right to connect the data sources and display the metrics on your page (e.g. you are the account owner or an authorised administrator of the connected platforms).
• You must not use TruStats to display false, misleading, or fabricated information.
• You must not attempt to circumvent, reverse-engineer, or abuse our API rate limits or sync infrastructure.
• You must not use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• You are responsible for keeping your integration credentials secure. Do not share your TruStats login or API keys with untrusted parties.

Public pages and embeds

Your metrics page is publicly accessible to anyone with the URL. By making your page public, you consent to the display of your profile and metric data to the general public.

The embed widget allows your metrics to be displayed as an iframe on external websites. Pro subscribers may restrict permitted embed domains via the Embed Allowlist. Free plan embeds display a "Verified by TruStats" attribution badge; you may not remove this badge without a Pro subscription.

Directory Sponsor listings

Directory Sponsor listings appear on the Verified Startups directory (trustats.live/startups). Listings are subject to availability (maximum 10 active slots). TruStats reserves the right to reject or remove a sponsor listing that violates these terms or that we determine is misleading, harmful, or inconsistent with the platform's positioning. A rejected listing will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of the current billing period.

Custom domains (Pro)

Pro subscribers may configure a custom domain (e.g. metrics.yourstartup.com) to point to their TruStats page. You are responsible for configuring the necessary DNS records. TruStats is not liable for DNS propagation delays or domain misconfiguration. We do not purchase, register, or manage domain names on your behalf.

Intellectual property

TruStats and its branding, design, and codebase are owned by TruStats. By connecting your integrations and creating a page, you grant TruStats a limited, non-exclusive licence to fetch, store, and display your metric data as directed by you. You retain all rights to your underlying business data.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice in cases of serious breach. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings or by contacting us. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees.

Limitation of liability

TruStats is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for investment decisions, acquisition outcomes, business transactions, or other consequences based on metrics displayed on the platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of TruStats after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
